They don't offer greatperformance, but in terms ofportability they just cant be beaten. Laptops and netbooks have to be either rested on a table or on your lap, which isn't how most people like to relax, touch screen tablets however can be held in one hand whilst you touch away with the other.
But with touch tablet do I need?
Well that depends on what you're going to use it for:
If you only to browse the web, then any entry model will do the trick, if however you want to watch flash videos online, play movies of the HDD, play games or use some cool apps then you have to make sure your touch tablet contains the latest Dual Core Rockchip processor to ensure smooth usage.
There are also 10" touch tablets available but the price compared to the 7" models might put you off.
