Who says you can do whatever you want in life? Who says being happy is all that's important? You can't have everything you want the way you want it. Life is not a bowl of cherries. Get Real. You are, aren't you?
Striving for success is not enough. Getting rich is not enough. You have to decide what you want out of life before you can enjoy what you think it is that you want. Do you know?
If you don't know what you want how do you know if what you want is real? Maybe you're just some bit player in a virtual reality game constructed by a game master. Maybe you're just part of a software program. How do you know?
It's not as if you can look in the mirror, pinch yourself and conclude that you're real. Maybe that's part of the program or the problem. No sense cutting your finger to see if you're real. They can program that to look like real blood.
I'm beginning to think it's not that important to determine if you are real as long as you think you are. If you do, that should keep you happy, won't it?
It is not my intention to confuse you. I'm confused enough for the both of us, or all of us for that matter, assuming any of this or us are real and any of this is really happening. Who cares?
That's what I want to know. Who cares? Does any one care about any one else any more? Is it important?
This much I think I know. If you don't care, you can't be realonly part of a program going through the motions of life as if they really meant something. Do you mean something?
It's time to shape up and take a realistic look at your life and what you do and don't care about and what's important to you. It's time to decide what you're really all about, what makes you tick, and why you want to be someone real to begin with.
Life is not just a bowl of cherries. Sometimes it's the pits. Watch what you're eating before you choke on too large a dose of reality. Watch what you're doing, if you really are. Who is in charge here? Is it really you?
