Windows7 Starter: Windows 7 Starter is designed with many fewest features but it not included Windows Aero themes and not accessible in 64-bit variant. This version is available in almost all pre-installed computers, such as netbooks.

Windows7 Enterprise: This particular version of Window 7 holds many special features, such as BitLockerDrive Encryption, support for Multilingual User Interface (MUI) packages, and UNIX applications support.

Windows7 Ultimate: this version is very similar to Windows 7 Enterprise, but the target users of this Windows 7 ultimate version is home users. People who are using Windows7 Home Premium and Windows7 Professional can upgrade their system with Windows 7 Ultimate.

N Editions: Windows N versions are available for new purchases and also for upgrades. If you are a user of Premium, Enterprise, Ultimate and Professional versions, you can upgrade your systems with Windows N version. Even though this version holds many attractive features, it does not have a Windows Media Player.

VL Builds: The VL Builds version of Windows7 work with VLKs that is Volume License Key. Volume license keys are very helpful to set off multiple installations and also to check the total number of installations in your computer.
