For the pearl we like to use a Tahitian pearl that is quite large. The large pearl seems to make the best statement for this style of surfer leather pearl necklace. A big 13mm or 14mm Tahitian pearl in a drop baroque shape works the best. That way we can get a large pearl for the client without it being too expensive. This seems to be the most popular option as opposed to using a perfectly round Tahitian pearl because then the price would be way too high.
