subject: Know Your Needs, Know How To Burn Body Fat [print this page]

To truly know how to burn body fat, you"ll need to consult with a dietician. Everyone has different needs and different hurdles to overcome. There are a few general rules to follow that most people can follow, though.

Cutting Processed Carbohydrates Is Good For Everyone

Very few people would suffer from cutting carbohydrates. Not only do we eat more carbohydrates in one day than we would need in a week, but we"ve gone so far as to refine our carbs so we get more bang for the buck.

How can we identify what foods have extra carbs? The easiest way is to remember, "If it"s white, it"s not right." These six words cover just about everything you need to know about cutting carbs and then some. Wheat flour, sugar, salt, soy and dairy, as well as some unhealthy food that isn"t high in carbs all fall under this category.

Going Organic Never Hurt Anyone

Going organic is another dietary change that anyone can make to improve their health and promote weight loss. Many of the additives in commercially prepared food can hamper your fat burning efforts in several ways.

First of all, commercial grade meat and dairy products contain growth hormones that are injected in the cow while she"s still alive. The only intention behind this is to keep her producing milk without having to bear a calf. These hormones are carried over into your meat and milk. The net effect for you is that it slows down your metabolism so you gain weight.

Additionally, since many additives are technically toxins, many of the vitamins and minerals in your system that could be used to break down fat are getting used to fight off these additives.

Decreasing Fat the Right Way

Everyone knows that decreasing fat is a good all around practice. Even if you"re the "lucky few" who couldn"t gain a pound on a diet of pure lard, lowering bad fats will save your heart and arteries. Fat has to go somewhere, and it"s not going to leave your body easily.

Of course, frying and sauting doesn"t have to go away. You just have to change the type of oils you use. Organic olive oil and coconut oil will serve the majority of your needs. If you absolutely have to have the butter taste, go organic"it"s not as bad for you as commercial grade butter.

Cutting Salt is Universally Good

There probably isn"t anyone out there who would have a bad reaction to cutting salt. The great thing is that you don"t have to remove salt altogether or use a potassium based substitute for the most part. Unrefined sea salt is perfectly fine as a substitute, and way better than refined table salt.

Individual needs vary for everyone when approaching how to burn body fat. You should definitely be assessed before taking on a diet program, especially if you"re serious about losing weight fast. All things being equal, everyone can benefit with these rules.
