subject: Symptoms of Candidiasis [print this page]

There is beneficial bacteria within all of us, whose duty it is to keep the levels of candida in our bodies at healthy levels. When the beneficial bacteria fails to maintain these healthy and normal, candidiasis develops, often showing itself in the initial form of diarrhea. Once candidiasis occurs, the natural bacteri within your body ceases to replenish itself. This leads to excess yeast, which leads to a yeast infection in the vagina, and/or thrush of the mouth or intestinal tract.

The severity of a case of candidiasis can differ quite a bit, ranging from the harmless to the fatal. Common symptoms of candidiasis can include hunger and hunger headaches, constipation, discomfort, itching, redness, low energy, fatigue, and gas. The good news is that candidiasis can be treated with anti-fungal medications and/or a candida diet.

When yeast infections occur in the intestines, it is hard to detect because unlike yeast infections in the mouth and vagina, you can't see an intestinal case, leading it to go undetected and undiagnosed for sometimes long periods, growing worse and sometimes eventually leading to a tree-root-like substance called rhizoids growing beneath the mucosa. Rhizoids permit dangerous toxins to penetrate the intestinal lining and eventually the rest of the body as well. This leads to leaky gut syndrome, which leads to more yeast infections, insomnia, acne, fatigue, respiratory problems, psoriasis, bladder or rectal inflammation, muscle pain, joint pain, irritability, diarrhea, dizziness, flatulence, and eczema.

Sometimes the result of an injury or surgery, yeast can even enter the bloodstream, causing even more serious conditions such as candidemia or invasive candidiasis. If left untreated, it can spread to the joints, eyes, spleen or kidneys. Symptoms of candidemia or invasive candidiasis may show in the form of symptoms of fever and chills, untreatable by normal antibiotics.
