subject: Rudy Soltesz w/Pro formance Realty steals leads [print this page] As a former agent with pro formance realty, I want to tell you how disgusted I was to work there only to find out that the broker rudy soltesz was stealing leads. I was promised leads when I first signed up, but then never received any. After confronting rudy, he once again promised I would soon get some, which again never happened.
After I obtained a listing on my own, I had a friend of mine call in about the property, and pretend to be a buyer wanting to see it. My friend asked for me but was told I was out. Rudy then took his info and proceeded to say that he could show him my listing. Rudy even tried to follow up with emails to my friend, and never once forwarded me the contact info for the lead that should have gone to me. I confronted rudy about this, and he said thats just how it goes, and if I didn't like it I could leave, which is exactly what I did.
After I left he then refused to allow me to take my listing with me to my new broker. What a joke of a company. No one should have to go through what I went with Pro formance, that company sucks!!
Now I realize why I was never receiving any leads, the broker cherry picks them, and competes with his agents for business. After leaving, I met an ex-manager of his who explained to me that Rudy has high rents/overhead, and needs to take all of those incoming leads to support his own company since the agents were not making enough income for him to survive. He said it won't be long before he goes under.
I do not recommend that any agents consider working for this unscrupulous broker!
