Finding a good alarm clock to help you in the wee hours of the morning can be tough. I tend to put the clock to arms reach so I had to get out of bed to turn it off. What can I use as an alarm to change from things like my cell phone or a TV on the way to my computer.

For some odd reason, it seems that the free alarm clock for computers that are difficult to obtain in those days. A few years ago of a decent alarm clock named Citrus offered a lot of people expect functions, and the best was that it was free. Unfortunately, freeware stage did not last long, and it is now a $13 program. Similarly, Aurora for Mac were free, but now has a $22 price tag.

Well, today we are showing our appreciation for the artists whove taken time to build advanced applications alarm clock, and out offering them for free!

-College( Home ) Windows only

This alarm clock is especially useful for people who have different schedules each day of the week, and as the name indicates the target group is students. Using it is simple: download and run the program There is nothing to install. After that you can start tinkering around with various configuration options.

Very soon you will notice that there are 7 papers distributed in advance for every day of the week. For each day, you can designate a different period that coincides with the list of tasks for students works out perfectly. Not exactly feel like interface, but can be quite useful if the schedule varies throughout the week.

Clock, Alarm 2( Home ) Mac only

This is a powerful application alarm that is not only capable of handling alarms, but it can also serve as stopwatch or timer. I would say that the best part is that it is able to wake the computer from sleep to sound the alarm. This is great for anyone who does not like to leave your computer on overnight.

Here are some other features that really make it stand out from the crowd:

Set as many alarms as you want Set one-time alarms or repeating alarms Wake up to any song, playlist or podcast in your iTunes library Wake up peacefully with easy wake configuration options, which slowly increases the volume of the alarm in time

-TinyAlarm( Home ) Mac only

name of this program gives the impression that this is a basic run-Alarm Clock-the-mill, but it is not so at all. Not integrates with your iTunes library, as the previous proposal, but it is able to do most things people want to alarm:

Choose from the system sounds or sounds in a personal library Choose a number of alarm bells sound when Add text to the alarm, it is recalled that appear in the Growl notification Fuzzy timers: timers, which are accurate simply add minutes or hours to the present. Counters that are O(for example, About 15 minutes), are rounded.

-Overview-If you use an alarm clock on your computer, wed love to hear which of the them. Choice of free solutions seems to be shrinking, but hopefully it will not be rising.
