subject: The Camping Checklist- What to Take Camping [print this page]

If you're planning a camping trip, you need to also plan what you're going to bring. There's nothing better than a fun filled camping adventure with family and friends, but there's nothing worse than getting to a far flung destination and not having what you need.

I recommend creating, or printing the list we have below to help you prepare for your trip. As you're packing up the truck, van, mule or whatever vehicle you're traveling in, check off the items as you load them. Another great organization tip is to purchase large duffle bags or rubber containers and label them with the appropriate name, e.g., cooking, cookware, etc

Cooking: You have to eat! Make sure to also plan you meals and don't forget to bring snacks!
