Moving can be one of Life's biggest stresses so plan early to ensure your move is as painless as possible.

* Order your supplies early, dont leave everything to the last minute, start to pack items you know you will not be using

* Pack one room at a time

* Label each Box with a description of it's contents and destination (eg kitchen, bathroom, lounge). Be as specific as you can, it will make the unpacking that much easier

* Tape the bottom and top of the carton, do not interlock flaps, ensure the cartonwill hold the contents, we recommend two thickness of packing tape, and make sure to seal the top of the box

* Select the right carton for the right job, make sure you usesmaller boxes for heavieritems such as books, can etc

* Pack heavier items towards the bottom of the box and lighter items on top,use towels and linenin the top of the box to protect the contents

* Wrap delicate items such as glasses in paper, and ensure there is sufficient padding surrounding these items, blankets aregreat forthis

* Do not overfill cartons, keep in mind that the final weight of the carton should not exceed the average adult strength (ie a good weight is around 23kg), any small spaces in the top can be filled with paper, towels or blankets.
