subject: Will Writing Articles Be Any Help To My Online Marketing? [print this page]

Will Writing Articles Aid My Marketing ?

At the risk of sounding like a lame re working of Hamlet, act three, scene one, that is the question. Whether it is worth while to expend the effort to create articles in the hope that it would generate traffic.

A lot has been said and will be written about article marketing, and it will be an act of wickedness if I proceed to bore you with a re hashed version of stuff you might have read.

Will Writing articles work in support of search engine optimisation efforts? The answer is, like most things in life - it depends. I opened a page at random of Pulizzi and Barretts Get Content Get Customers and a sub heading Let Your Content Go caught my eye. The authors urge website content producers to set their content free regardless on whose website the customer or potential customers saw it. It is perhaps difficult not feel precious about ones work. The problem arises when one sees ones work with out any attribution no author credits, no links, nothing, big fat zero then one is tempted to ask the question again - will making content for the freddie freeloaders of the web enhance my maketing - especially if my niche is so small as to be a specialist in advising on last will and testament and lasting powers of attorney?

Enough of the unintended backhanded compliment to look on the positive side, there are great advantages from submitting ones articles to the leading article directories such as Articlesnatch; Articlebase and to my mind, the daddy of them all EzineArticles. It might take some work, one might need to brush on ones essay writing skills from school it helps if one can write proper English not text speak, and also one might learn the tips and tricks to writing more reader friendly or search engine friendly articles but as most article marketers would tell you, the effort more than pays for itself.

Will Writing Articles Make my Web Marketing Better or Easier? Done correctly, the answer is in the affirmative.
