Remember learning about JavaScript? This is one language that some will use and some will not. This is how browsers are able to talk to the websites and save things to the customer's computer. You may not be required to use Java with all the websites but, it is best to keep it fresh in your mind.

Some of the different types of languages you will use to communicate to the websites are C++, ASP, PHP and Perl. Do not just concentrate on one language always get to know them all. You never know when you will be required to use one of these.

When the website is up and going you will want it to show up in search engines. In order to make this happen SEO will be used. This means search engine optimization and will help with keywords, etc.

Another key thing to know something about is the servers. There are many different kinds of servers that systems will be running on. You will not need to know everything about them but, the basics will help in order to make your website run smoother.

Lastly project management is critical to know. You will be working with various deadlines so you will need to know how to manage any projects that are going to be constructed. This will help you stay on top of things and get the project completed on time.

Remember some things you will use more often then others. It is always best to keep things fresh in your mind for future use.
