Facebook - Create a Fan Page on Facebook. Announce to your fans when you are working on a new article. This builds anticipation for your article. Then when your article is done and published on your blog or EzineArticles, post the title of your article with a link back to your article. You could have a regular feature on your Fan Page where on a certain day of the week you published a new article link.

YouTube - With todays' technology and tools, you can quickly and easily create Video Articles out of your best articles and upload them to YouTube. We were raised on TV and YouTube is just another version of that powerful screen. Use it.

Be sure to include a link to the original article in the description of your video.

Twitter - Twitter is a gold mine for redirecting traffic to your articles. Once a new article is out, either on your blog or on an Article Directory, announce that the article is available. Then make multiple follow up announcements throughout the next few days as well. Use quotes from your article and include the link. Ask "Have you seen this yet?" and direct them to your article.

The thing to remember about Twitter is that it is very fluid. So an announcement you make one day in the morning might not be seen by someone who will see a similar announcement that you make the next afternoon.
