This is a benefit of plans C through L. For plan K and L, it is 50 percent and 75 percent respectively. The part B annual deductible is only available for plans C, F and J.
Also included in Medigap plans is part B excess charges benefits. This is available at 100 percent for plans F, I, and J, and 80 percent for plan G. Emergency care outside of the U.S is available to cover 80 percent of the care costs during the first 60 days of every trip. This is available for plans C through J. At home recovery benefit is available for plans D, G, I, and J.
It covers up to a certain amount on every custodial care visit after a surgery, injury, or illness for up to a certain maximum benefit.
Preventive medical care is available in two sections. The first is up to a certain amount per year for non-Medicare covered services, preventive tests, and physicals. It is offered with plans E and J. The second is 100 percent of coinsurance for part B, and is available for plans A through L.
Hospice care is available to cover coinsurance for respite care as well as other part A-covered services. It is available for plan K at 50 percent and plan L for 75 percent.
The out-of-pocket maximum pays 100 percent of parts A and B coinsurance after the maximum annual amount has been spent. It is available for plans K and L at different amounts.
