In this article I'm going to talk about list building and give you 3 tips to grow your list quickly! Did you know that the hardest part of growing your list is actually the beginning?
You see once you actually get past 500 or so subscribers then it's easy to grow your list! Firstly though if you can do the hard work to get 500 subscribers then there's nothing stopping you turning that number into 5000 or 10,000 in a matter of months!
What Are My 3 Tips?
Okay, let's get right down to it, I want to give you 3 tips that will help you grow that huge list that you really want! Once you've got that list it's a HUGE asset because it's where most of your money will come from, so...
Tip 1
Consistency...
When you first start building your list it can be extremely hard, so you have to be consistent! As easy as it might be to simply "give up" or take a day off from your list building activities you HAVE to be consistent.
If you are writing articles everyday which are growing your list by a few subscribers per day, as much as it's painful to do, you've got to keep doing it because once you finally get a few 100 subscribers you can start to grow your list using other methods that I will talk about in this article.
Some may say, oh well consistency isn't exactly a tip to help me grow my list, I want a specific traffic method! Well...although it may not be a specific traffic method, you HAVE to be consistent and I can GUARANTEE that if you stay consistent with your work/list building efforts you will eventually have a good sized list!
Tip 2
Think Outside The Box...
What I mean by this is you shouldn't just settle for the standard methods of generating traffic! Of course it's hard to know what the other methods are, but you need to think outside the box when it comes to driving traffic! The guru's have led you to believe that you've got to master adwords or write 1000's of articles when in reality that's not the case.
With this particular article I'm concentrating hard to write a good article that delivers value to people who are reading this, then I'm going to spend a good few hours working on the promotion of this article, that means submitting it to various places that I think will bring it traffic such as 1) Social Bookmarking Websites, 2) Twitter, 3) Facebook, 4) Targeted Websites (e.g where people will enjoy reading this)
If you are into article marketing then you may believe that you just need to submit to the top directories and you'll get traffic but think about this...how many times do you stop and read someone else's article on an article directory? If you're like me then it's NEVER!
The reason is because people submitting to directories are in various niches and nobody is really that bothered about stopping around to read other peoples articles!
Here's what I propose...write an article, submit it to the directories (for the traffic you already get) but then take that same article and find a few forums that are related to your niche, sign up and post your article on the forum (remove any external links etc, just put your link in the signature of the forum instead), if you've got twitter then tweet about your article a few times here's what my tweet about this article will probably look like:

Notice I've put Plz RT on the end, this shows people I'd like them to re-tweet my tweet which can help to bring way more traffic!
Also, post your article out on facebook! Put it on your own wall (don't spam other peoples walls) but also place it on a few groups related to your niche, and on a few facebook "pages"!
Think about already how many extra visitors you could have coming into one article, you've instantly doubled, tripled or maybe quadrupled how much traffic your original article was going to receive! It's powerful stuff, but this is what you need to do to get more traffic and grow your list faster...
Next tip...
Tip 3
I won't lie...it's not going to be an easy thing building up your list to 500 people, it may take days, it may take weeks, or it might even take months and if it does then so be it...once you've actually got to that amount of people then things are going to be A LOT easier!
Once you get 500 people you can start participating in Ad Swaps! This is where you find someone else who has a list the same size as you, and you email out their free offer to your list and they email out your free offer to their list! This way you're both helping to grow each others' list!
To give you some figures a friend of mine recently did a list swap with someone who had 5000 subscribers and he added an extra 500 subscribers to his own list literally in a couple of days! That is incredibly powerful stuff you have to admit!
Here's a little tip I use to do ad swaps with people with bigger lists than me! Although my list isn't that big, I do have over 3000 followers on twitter, so to compensate for not having a list as big I simply say, "look...I know my list isn't as big, however I have over 3k of followers on twitter, so I'll happily tweet about your free offer to help you get more subscribers" See how it works?

I've talked about 3 tips, sure In "Tip 2" I went into quite a lot of detail about a few things but the main 3 points I have been trying to get across are as follows:
1) Stay Consistent & Don't Give Up!
2) Think Differently Do Something Different, Not Just "The Normal"
