What do you normally do during your spare time? Let me give you some examples - Some of you may say playing computer games - In that case you can have a website where you talk about the computer games that you play (and when it comes to monetization you can promote computer games as an affiliate).
For some of you who love watching drama and movies, you can have a website where you talk about dramas and movies that you are watching right now, as well as your thoughts about upcoming dramas and movies, etc (and you can promote items such as drama box sets, movie DVDs, etc.).
2. Passion
What are you passionate about? Maybe you are passionate about your F1 racing team - You can have a website to talk about it - Such as sharing your thoughts about their latest performance, or commenting on the latest news or rumors about them, etc. And when it comes to monetizing your website - You can promote merchandises of your F1 racing team.
3. What Are You Good At?
Think about what your friends have been constantly saying you are good at... It could be that you are good in taking good photographs (in that case you can have a website where you share your photography tips with people around the world, and promote digital photography products such as cameras, and their accessories), or that your friends told you that you are good in repairing the xbox 360 (you can have a website dedicated to sharing with people how to go about solving the various xbox 360 problems), and the list goes on and on...
The above are just 3 ideas that I would like to share with you to help you get started. However, the list does not stop here.
