The Islamic message, exemplified in the Qur'an and the Sunnah of Muhammad, believe in the Torah and the Evangel as part of the divine message to mankind. Muslims believe in Moses and Jesus Christ, as well as Muhammad, to be messengers of God delivering the same message and are all on equal footing.
The following Qur'anic verses denote this clearly:
God! There is no god save Him, the Alive, the Eternal. He has revealed unto you (Muhammad) the Scripture in Truth, confirming that which was (revealed) before it. And He has revealed the Torah and the Gospel. Aforetime for a guidance to mankind: and has revealed the criterion (of right and wrong). Those who disbelieve the revelations of God, their will be a heavy doom. And God is Mighty, able to requite (the wrong).' Chapter 3: 2,3,4
Muslims, Believing in the Torah (the Law) sent to Moses and the Gospel sent to Jesus Christ, are commanded to reason out with the People of the Book: Jews and Christians in the best of manners:
And do not argue with the People of the Book except in the best way possible, save with such of them as do wrong; and say: We believe in that which has been revealed unto you; our God and your God is one, and unto Him we submit ourselves. In like manner We have revealed unto you (Muhammad) the Scripture, and those unto whom We gave the Scripture aforetime will believe therein; and of these there are some who believe therein. And none deny Our revelations save the disbelievers.' 29: 46, 47
Muslims believe in all Prophets and Messengers of God without making any distinction between them:
The Messenger(Muhammad) believes in that which it has been revealed unto him from his Lord and so do the believers. Each one believes in God and His angels, and His scriptures and His messengers: we make no distinction between any of His messengers, and they say: 'We hear and we obey' Grant us Thy forgiveness, our Lord. Unto You is our return.' 2: 285
But very few, if at all, among the People of the Book namely the jews and Christians, believe in Islam asthe divine message. They do not believe in the Qur'an as the word of God and do not believe in Muhammad as a Prophet and messenger of God like Moses and Jesus Christ.
