Script Debugging
If you think you are getting errors that don't really apply to you, you can disable script debugging so you won't keep getting script error notifications. Microsoft suggests a quick fix for this.
In Internet Explorer click on the "Tools" menu and then "Internet Options." Click on the "Advanced" tab. Under Settings you can put a check in the box for "Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer)" and "Disable script debugging (Other)." Make sure to uncheck the box for "Display a notification about every script error."
Installing Updated Java
Now, you want to install a newer version of Java. This should update your old version in such a way as to effectively correct the error that had been created. Uninstalling Java
If the updated Java is still giving you runtime errors, try uninstalling Java and then re-installing the updated version as described above.
To uninstall Java:
