Bangalore is the city situated in the southern Karnataka, a state of India. This city is formerly named as Bengaluru. Strategically it is located at the southern tip of the Deccan and within close range of Kerala and Tamil Nadu, making a great base and starting point for those venturing out across southern India. It was also called by the name of the Garden City and a time before it was also known by the name of a pensioner's paradise. This city is the third most populous city in India. It is a hub of India's booming IT industry.

Bengaluru Palace: It is the private residence of the Wodeyar family. It is designed to resemble Windsor Castle and a visitor can wonder at the plentiful interiors and galleries featuring family photos and a collection of nude portraits.

Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath: It is the visual art gallery situated in Bengaluru definitive art institution. A wide range of Indian and international contemporary is on shows at its exhibition galleries.

Tipu Sulatan's Palace: In the heart of the vibrant krishnarajendra City market stands the elegant palace of Tipu Sultan, notable for its teak pillars and ornamental frescoes. Though not a beautiful as Tipu's summer palace in Srirangapatnam, it's an interesting monument.

Iskcon Temple: It is temple in Bengaluru which is built by the International Society of Krishna Consciousness; better know as the Hare Krishnas. This shiny temple situated on the northwest of the town centre. There are many sights in Bengaluru to visit.

Being a leading business hub lots of people travel to Bangalore by Air thus is has excellent air connectivity. Almost all major domestic air lines have their regular flights from here. You can purchage cheap air tickets to Bangalore from any travel agent. Bangalore City train station is the main train hub and the place to make reservation. Cantonment train station is a sensible spot if you are arriving and headed for the MG Road area while Yesvantpur train station is the starting points for Goa trains.
