subject: Is There A Cure For Fibromyalgia? [print this page]

Fibromyalgia is a difficult disease to diagnose due to the fact that it involves so many symptoms. Basically it is a disease that affects the muscles, but due to the nature of it, it can also cause headaches, insomnia, stress, anxiety and depression. But is there hope, or a cure after you have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia?

According to medical professionals there is no cure for fibromyalgia. They claim that they do not know what is causing the disease, and therefore they are unable to heal anyone from it. But when you look at their own studies it is not hard to figure out what causes the disease.

What Causes Fibromyalgia?

Medical studies have revealed that fibromyalgia patients have high levels of toxins in their body as well as many nutrient deficiencies. So could it be a possibility that fibromyalgia may be caused by too many toxins and not enough nutrients?

The answer is yes. If you are suffering from fibromyalgia, all you have to do is remove all toxins from your body, and restore nutrients and you will be able to overcome almost all if not all your symptoms of fibromyalgia. However, this is not done as easy as it may sound. For the road to recovery is a long road, and it could take you years to make a full recovery. But if you take the right actions today, then perhaps tomorrow you can be free from fibromyalgia. So what are the steps to take?

Eliminate Toxins

The most important thing that you can do if you are suffering from fibromyalgia is to eliminate toxins in your body. Toxins are any substances that are foreign to the body. Thus you need to eliminate all foods that contain artificial ingredients of any kind, as these ingredients are not natural, and the body does not know what to do with them. These foods include fast foods, processed foods, packaged foods, all types of sugar, soda, canned, bottled or boxed juices.

Animal proteins should also be avoided as well as most cooked and baked foods, as they become toxic in the body as well.

Restoring Nutrients

Medical studies that have been done on fibromyalgia patients reveal that the patients are deficient in magnesium, calcium, vitamin D and serotonin. All these nutrients can naturally be obtained from raw and living foods, except for vitamin D, which is obtained through exposure to sunlight.

These foods include avocados, spinach, kale, dandelion greens, Swiss chard, broccoli, bananas, pineapples, kiwi, tomatoes, melons, eggplant, figs, grapefruit, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, almonds, Brazil nuts, pecans, walnuts, peanuts, hickory and hazelnuts.

Therefore in order for you to cure your fibromyalgia you should start adding these foods to your diet in their raw state. Your goal should be to eat a 100% raw food diet so that your body can be healed.
