subject: Worldprofit Review and Recommendation [print this page] I became a Worldprofit Dealer in June 2010 after doing extensive due diligence on the company, which I will get to in greater detail in a moment. I was re-introduced to Worldprofit through a curious series of events.
First, I was reading a book titled "Multiple Streams of Internet Income" by best selling author and multiple stream of income guru Robert Allen, who endorsed the work of Dr. Jeffrey Lant the CEO of Worldprofit. Soon after making note of this reference a fellow marketer for whom I have tremendous respect suggested that I take a second look at Worldprofit and their new ClickBank business model, so I figured that these events occurred for a reason and decided to investigate the opportunity.
I had previously joined the Worldprofit in May 2008 using their 30 day trial offer and Silver Business Package. I do not remember all of the details, but for some reason I determined that it was not a fit for me and I canceled my subscription with a single email and no hassels whatsoever and moved on.
Before re-joining Worldprofit, I conducted extensive research on the company and it's founders. I dug into everything, Worldprofit's business model, history with the Better Business Bureau, Dr. Lant's academic record (yes, I contacted the Harvard Alumni Association), the company's claims, their marketing systems, income claims, negative and positive reviews - all of it!
Taking a fresh look, I was surprised by how much has changed at Worldprofit over the past two years. Worldprofit added a true back-end revenue model by integrating the entire 10,000 plus ClickBank product library. George Kosch their technonogy director also created the "ClickBank Promo Tool Kit," which includes approximately 80 pre-written product campaigns and customized sales-pages for the members to promote. In addition they also have added a variety of automated SEO tools that can be used to market any website.
I shared the results of my due dillegence on my blog:
When I conducted a research on Dr. Jeffrey Lant, George Kosh, and Sandi Hunter, the founders of Worldprofit, I discovered a number of post commenting on the personality of Dr. Jeffrey Lant. In truth he can be a little rude, condescending at times and admittedly impatient this is just the truth, but I have found him to be equally committed, supportive, generous, blatantly honest, motivational and a pure marketer.
I think people have to draw their own conclusions when evaluating Dr. Lant as a mentor and Worldprofit as a business model. It took me a while to arrive at a decision about Dr. Lant - I was put off at first until I better understood his motivation. I have spoken with people who fall on both extremes and found that there is not much middle ground on Dr. Lant. Regardless, most agree the business opportunity is very sound.
