Did Prince Charming fall of his horse?..Cause I'm still waiting for him.

If truth be told, single and sane people aren't ever happy just to be on their own. Even the experts have to admit it. Healthy single people have just learnt to move on with their lives regardless of whether the one' is in their world or not. Some people call it being whole. I tend to agree with that definition.

Only people who aren't afraid of facing the ultimate nightmare of spending the rest of your days being single could ever be whole. That word whole actually means to be complete. Have you noticed how more attractive you feel when you are confident. The more you beam on the inside, the more it shows on the outside. Have you ever noticed the opposite kind of behaviour in yourself or others?

I once had a close friend who had just one goal, to find a man and get married. That's all she talked about every time we met up. She was so focused on finding a man that when she did speak to any guy who was worth a date, he would leave. And then she would spend weeks depressed. She was a successful , single girl aiming her sights on the wrong goal. All she needed to do was to let her confidence woo that man right to her feet. Her mistake was typical. Focus on the getting and not the giving. If she gave herself permission to feel worth and value and dignity first, then that would be the standard that others would use to measure her by.

There is no quick fix to overcoming psychological problems or emotional fears. Each person has to work on himself day in and day out. You choose to change who you are so that what you want to become is an attainable goal.

They say (the experts) that it takes 30 days to break a habit. My challenge in this blog is to take 30 days if you are single and avoid talking about just how single you really are. Every time someone mentions it, issue a comeback response like, Well, that's no longer a concern to me.' Go on, try it. It will do wonders for your self-esteem. After 30 days, you may just find a new you.
