subject: Sunglasses Plus The Cia Equals One Hot Spy [print this page]

Everyone who loves Angie and Brad has seen and re seen Mr. and Mrs. Smith. This American blockbuster movie has put the career of spying and assassination on the most cool list. But what is it about them that have us going back again and again other than the hotness and the guns? Yeah, they totally look amazing in those sunglasses.

Sunglasses on most any person makes them look mysterious simply because we cannot see their eyes, their expressions or which way their looking. Sunglasses are a great way to hide your face from crowds, paparazzi, and the sun, but people in the spy game can certainly look the part with a smart and sexy pair of shades.

Other notable TV and movie characters that look amazing in sunglasses are: everyone on the cast of The Matrix, David Caruso in CSI: Miami, and Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible (although those sunglasses blew up, unfortunately).

Have you ever watched any sort of presidential event? Do you see those men and women surrounding the President wearing black suits, white button down shirts, ear buds, close cropped hair, and dark or black sunglasses? Those are the US Secret Service and they totally rock those shades. Sunglasses make the Secret Service look far more intimidating than they would without them. Its the mystery. No one knows where theyre looking are they looking at you? Are they watching your every move? Are the suspicious of everyone? No one can truly know when their eyes are so completely obscured by those sunglasses.

Not only do spies and the US Secret Service rock the coolest dark sunglasses, anyone in uniform seems to have a work mandate that requires them to sport dark sunglasses even in the dead of night. Sunglasses are meant to be worn during the day to keep the glare of the sun out of your eyes, but some people wear the sunglasses at night to continue that air of mystery, secrecy and national security.

Fire fighters wear sunglasses during the day, but they don their protective eyewear when entering a blaze. Police officers wear sunglasses so that they can pursue criminals without squinting into the glare on their windshields. Believe it or not, sunglasses have a lot of purposes other than looking cool they help save lives.

Sunglasses are used by everyone, from the hottest fire fighter to the top paid production studio wardrobe departments, so its safe to say that sunglasses have a permanent place in the homes and hearts of Americans.
