August 23, 2010, at around 9:00 in the morning at the Quirino Grandstand, the sudden hostage-taking crisis happened. The hostage incident ended in a bloody and tragic crisis that harmed eight Hong Kong travelers and Rolando Mendoza, the hostage taker, during the crossfire.

The Hong Kong government has announced a travel advisory reminding their citizens to abstain from traveling to the Philippines after theheartbreaking hostage-taking incident.

Like other nationalities, the Filipinos also felt terrible with what happened. It was the day were all Filipinos mourned and President Aquino has declared Aug. 25 as day of national mourning for the victims of Monday's bloody hostage-taking incident.

The incident has caused a big problem most definitely for all Filipino workers who are employed in Hong Kong. As I was conversing to my friend, who works in Hong Kong, the other day, she said, although nothing has changed with the way her employer treats her, however, she can feel that somehow there feels to be a tension between Filipinos and Hong Kong nationals.

On August 23, the same day when the incident happend, the social networking sites like Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, and other social network sites were flooded with conversations concerning the hostage drama. If you happened to have searched on the internet on Monday, the most prominent keyword was "Quirino Grandstand." Bloggers were talking about the same topic and have used the same keywords for that same matter.

For bloggers, it is really crucial to report the most recent event which has made an effect worldwide. It is the most desirable time for them to have more audience to check out on their web site. Mine is a little bit late. But that's okay. Then again, for a person who makes money on blogs or writing articles online, it is imperative for him to have the freshest data to be posted before everyone else could post it online.

However, not all freshly posted reports about an incident could get visitors. Bear in mind that it is not only you who is into blogging. So, the traffic that your post will make depends on the keywords that you will use on your article; keywords that people would mostly enter on the search bar. More often than not, it is preferred to use other keywords that are exceptional for your story or blog post.

These unique keywords help establish traffic for your website. But bear in mind, these unique keywords should not replace the mostly used keywords that other writers would use for their blog post or article. One thing that I like about using unique keyword is that my articles or blog posts oftentimes appear on a search result which is not related to the topic that a person is looking for. There is nothing wrong with that. You don't have any control over that. But it adds traffic on my site if they will click on it and I find it interesting. Don't get me wrong. I don't do it on purpose.

Therefore, keywords are essential to help establish visitors for your website. They also help other people to find helpful and beneficial articles on the internet.

By the way, congratulations to Ms. Philippines, Venus Raj, 4th runner-up, for a job well done in representing our country the recently concluded Miss Universe 2010 in Las Vegas. Congratulations to Ms.Mexico, as well.
