subject: Broncos Head Towards The 2010 Football Games With Excitement [print this page] The 2010 Football season unofficially started for Boise State last August 6 when it opened its Fall Camp for the Broncos. Following the previous three camps, this is the final step in their training for this year's football tournaments which begin on the 6th of September. The team is now guarding the fifth place in the list of 25 best teams. Their overall total is 1,215 points, just a few hundred marks lower than last season's over-all best team.
For two weeks, the Boise State Broncos will be training in the camp in absolute secrecy. Fans are speculating that the team has quite a few surprised in store for this seasons' games. However, at the end of the training, the team has scheduled a warm-up exhibition game for the public.
The preview play will have the Boise State Bronco's offensive team scrambling against their defensive team. Of course, spectators shouldn't expect to see all their best in that game. They probably have the best moves reserved for the actual games. The demo game will be held at the West side of Boise State U's Bronco stadium at 7:30 pm.
Parking and admission will be free for everyone. The scrimmage will be held right after the 2010 Optimist Youth Football Jamboree.
To start off the 2010 season, the Bronco's will be running against the Virginia Tech. The match has long been awaited by fans on opposing sides and promises to live up to being the start-up game for this season. The place? Fed-Ex field, Landover, M. D. The Date? Monday, 6th September, 2010.
Expectations are high that the Bronco's will manage to remain in the top 5 teams after the season. Others are talking national championship too in the light of the 2009 season's results.
At postseason of 2009, the Boise state Broncos had copped the number 4 position. They hit an undefeated mark of 14-0 and at the Tostillos Fiesta Bowl, they won 17-10 over TCU.
Their schedule for this year is as follows.
September 6 they face Virginia Tech at Fed-Ex field. September 18 they tackle Wyoming at Laramie. September 25 they play at home versus Oregon State. October 2 they tackle New Mexico State at Las Cruces. October 9 they battle Toledo, once again, at home. October 16 they are up against San Jose State at San Jose, CA. October 26 they fight it out at home with Louisiana Tech. November 6 they play against Hawaii in another home game November 12 the game is against Idaho in Moscow, Idaho. November 19 they battle Fresno State in another home game. November 26 they face Nevada at Reno. December 4 they play at home against Utah.
2010 is certainly a season that the fans of Boise State shouldn't miss. The team is currently showing an upward trend in their rankings. From 2009's preseason position of 16 they rose to position number 4 at the end of the season. If the secrecy of Fall Camp means anything, they may have a few surprise throws up their sleeve in store.
