Subaru made new efforts with model releases in 2010, meaning that 2011 brings the same lineup for Subaru. However, the automaker still looked to update a couple of models, including the Impreza. The refresh the Impreza has received is more like a redesign, and a good one.

Cutting-edge style has always taken a backseat to practical design and dependable mechanics in Subaru models. But why can't a little flash coexist with all that renowned reliability? Now it will, as Subaru is putting a new skin on the Subaru Impreza WRX. The new side paneling and flared fenders turn the Impreza into a very sporty model. Borrowing from the WRX STI, the styling transfers very naturally and creates profile and front views worthy of competing with any sporty sedan on the market on looks alone. Of course, if you combine the Sunaru Impreza's track record for quality, the Impreza looks even more appealing now.

Speaking of the WRX STI, 2011 will bring a new body option to that model. Once again, buyers will be able to opt for a 4-door sedan version of the WRX STI. In 2008 Subaru shifted the WRX STI to a 5-door hatchback and discontinued the sedan. Now both will be available at Subaru dealerships. Other than that, nothing will change too much on the WRX STI. The wing that is added with STI performance upgrade packages may change slightly, but will likely be the same across all upgrades.

Both the 2011 Impreza and the 2011 WRX STI will be hitting your Naples car dealer in the final part of 2010. There probably won't be a huge campaign surround the two updated models, but expect them to turn heads on their own, especially the Impreza, which could almost pass for a new model.
