Welome to the cool club!
1.Take a photo of anything you want or find one on the internet, (just be careful about copyrighting laws) and enlarge the image (ours is approximately 6 by 9 inches), mirror the image(what this means is to flip the image horizontally so it looks like it is reversed) and then print it on the transfer paper. You can purchase the transfer paper at TShirtSupplies. Just go to the inkjet light category. (We recommend using a white or light colored shirt for best results. This is also the easiest and most efficient way.)
2. Preheat iron to linen setting. Do not use steam. (Empty all water.)
3. Iron on a very smooth hard surface that is waist level or below. Do not use an ironing board.
Place a pillowcase on the surface and iron the pillowcase to remove any wrinkles.
4. Put the garment on the center of the pillowcase and iron it to remove wrinkles.
5. Place the transfer with the image side down in the center of the garment.
6. Hand ironing is recommended only for T-shirts and light-weight fabrics and image sizes A4 and smaller.
Full Sheet Transfer
1. Using 2 hands, firmly slide the iron up and down as shown in the diagram. In 90 seconds, make enough passes to completely iron the shirt 2 times. The iron should be halfway off the edge when the edges are ironed.
2. For smaller transfer one-half sheet or less, the ironing time is reduced to 1.5 minutes total. If
transfer area is smaller than the iron, iron for 30 seconds with heavy pressure.
Paper Removal (Cold Peel)
Allow transfer to cool for approximately 2 minutes and remove paper.
Finally, Wash the shirt inside out for the first time about 1 -2 hours after you have ironed on the shirt..
