Statue of Liberty

Designed by Frederic Auguste Bartholdi and engineered by Alexandre-Gustave Eiffel,the Statue of Liberty or Liberty enlightening the world was a gift given to America by France in 1896 symbolizing the friendship between the two countries during America's war for independence. She is clothed in Roman attire, with one hand holding up a torch of enlightenment and the other hand carrying a tablet of law.

The Statue of Liberty is located on Liberty Island and is accessed by ferry. For visitors who want to climb the staircase to the crown, must purchase a special ticket that can be reserved up to a year.

Rockefeller Center

The Rockefeller brings images of the Rockettes, the bronze statue of Prometheus bringing fire to mankind as a focal point at the world famous skating rink and gigantic beautifully decorated Christmas tree during the holiday season. All of these images are why the Rockefeller is one of the most famous landmarks in New York. Visitors can get daily 15-minute tours of NBC Studios, where Saturday Night Live and The Today Show are filmed.

The Radio City Music Hall is home of the Rockettes and is the world's largest theater bringing in big named acts since its creation. There is over 100 pieces of art work to view, an observation deck on top of the GE Building and an underground concourse with several shopping options and eateries.

Central Park

With 843 acres of greenery,Central Park offers a wide variety of activities, attractions and exhibits. Central Park is located in Uptown Manhattan, separating the Upper East and Westside. Broadway, also known as Broadway Theatre is located in the Theatre District. Shows usually run Tuesday through Sunday. Visitors have the choice of attending a Broadway, Off-Broadway or Off-Off Broadway show. Tickets can be purchased on the same day of the performance at a TKTS booth at discount prices.
