The various candida symptoms in men are very similar to the symptoms that a woman would get due to an overgrowth of yeast in the body. These symptoms can include: constipation, diarrhea, acne, skin lesions, stiff and sore joints, muscle stiffness and soreness and continual fatigue. Anyone who has yeast intolerance can experience any of these symptoms.

There are, however, symptoms that are caused by candida that are specific to males.

Here are the seven most common candida symptoms in men:

1. red / inflamed and swollen glands

2. serious itching

3. blister-like spots which can 'weep'

4. pain when urinating

5. painful sex

6. burning sensation

7. impotency / difficulty having sex

Generally, all symptoms that go hand in hand with the overgrowth of the yeast-like fungus called Candida Albicans (which occurs naturally in our bodies) can be completely avoided with a change in our diet. The foods that you eat play a huge roll in people who are yeast intolerant. For instance, if you are suffer from some of the symptoms listed above, if you drink a lot of beer or wine, yeast pretty much feeds on that which causes the overgrowth. Limiting the amount of alcohol intake will definitely reduce many of the symptoms, and rather quickly too. Once you re-introduce the intake of yeast, the symptoms might come back.

If changing your diet is not quick enough and you need a bit more of a quicker treatment for candida, a topically applied medication is usually prescribed. These take the form of creams, pessaries, lotions, liquid suspensions, etc., depending on the site of the infection.

Be aware that the infections might reoccur. This is called recurring Candida or Candidiasis, or, recurring yeast infection.

Getting to the core of the problem might have to be remedied with going on a yeast free diet and changing the foods you eat daily. There is more of a clear shot at living symptom free and the least chances that the yeast infections will come back. If the yeast doesn't have anything to feed on, then you will see the difference in your health and your level of symptoms, or lack of!

Many people have this problem and it if you are experiencing the symptoms that are correlated with candida overgrowth, it doesn't mean that there is nothing that you can do because THERE IS!
