subject: For Our New Baby - Think Pink! [print this page]

When you are expecting, there is always the curiosity to find out the sex of your new baby. Whilst some parents opt to wait the full nine months for the surprise, others just can't wait that long and are eager to find out.

Finding out the sex of your baby has its advantages as it means you can be more specific when purchasing your new baby clothes and products. If you already know the sex of your baby it can aid your preparations when it comes to looking for shower invitations.

You can start searching on the internet for "baby girl shower invitations" and bookmark the websites which offer these products. There are many websites offering a range of beautiful designs so you can choose the invites you like and ensure you have everything ready for when the time comes to organise your baby shower. Since the arrival of a baby is such a special time many new mums want to add an extra personal touch and are opting to send personalised invitations. Some card designs even include a photo of your scan. In addition, why not search for your baby thank you cards at the same time and be extremely well prepared. Once your baby girl has arrived, your time will be very precious so if you have the time now and are already searching for baby shower invitations why not search for your thank you cards at the same time!

There is nothing more special and exciting than the arrival of a baby girl. Baby girls are just so adorable, no wonder so many songs have been inspired by the birth of a beautiful daughter. One of my favourites has to be "A Little Ray of Sunshine" by Brian Cadd. www.briancadd.com

A new baby girl is so special for both parents. Daughters are often referred to as "Daddy's Girl" but I think secretly most Mums also yearn for a baby girl as the bond between a mother and daughter usually is very strong and the relationship between a mother and daughter often becomes stronger as one grows older. The saying below goes someway to highlight this:

"A daughter is a daughter for life, A son is a son, until he meets his wife"

Being a Mum to a baby girl, I would like to offer my congratulations to all expectant Mums who with only a few weeks to go, have already found out their baby shower gift will need a pink bow!
