Here is where meditation comes in, as it not only allows the person to watch the flow of his thoughts (because it takes the person beyond his physical senses), but also it provides new energy in the monotony of the daily routine.

We should not underestimate the power of meditation, and what's more we should make it a part of our everyday routine, because:

It renews and strengthens the spirit and you learn more about yourself.

When you know yourself better you can expect promising achievements especially in the field of socialization.

While you learn to focus and concentrate, meditation gives a clearer sense of direction.

It improves your psysical, mental and emotional health.

Try some simple beginner's meditation technique that will nurture your consciousness -in other words, it will increase your consciousness and awareness beyond the scientific domain. In the continuous process of meditation, observe how it changes your life, perception and purpose.

The first step in a basic meditation technique is to find a quiet and comfortable place to reflect on. Sit in a comfortable position. Relax. This is another important factor when meditating. Choose an object to focus on. This will keep you focused. And concentrate on the object for few minutes (increase the time as you get better at it). There is obviously more to it but just to give you an idea of what it consist of.

To make the most of meditation you should have the right attitude and try different forms to find out what works for you. It is quite individual and experimental process. But to answer the question in the title 'why meditation now'? Well, because it helpes most common challenges our society faces today.
