subject: Xerox Phaser Color Laser 7750 Printer - High Quality Color Prints Quickly [print this page]

The Xerox Phaser Color Laser 7750 printer is a color laser printer that gives you high quality printing. Although the basic model is small enough to be desktop, there is no loss in the quality of your output thanks to the Xerox Phaser Color Laser 7750 printer toner cartridges. You no longer have to rely on standing color printers to get the look you need.

Oftentimes, you suffer a loss in print time with color printers, but not with this one. It can print out 35 pages per minute at its best speed. It can also print the first page out in under 11 seconds. It warms up really quickly as well, but this should not really be a surprise once you look at the printer specifications.

First, take a look at the 715 MHz G4 Power PC processor. Then, the memory, which can be expanded up to 1 GB. Both of this features help the printer to output complex jobs quickly and with high quality as well.

The paper handling is just what you need for printing graphics as you can print up to tabloid size paper on all models. On all the models but the 7750B, you can print tabloid extra, as well as banner size. The media you can print on includes coated paper, glossy paper, photo paper, postcards, labels, envelopes, transparencies and more.

All models of the 7750 have as a standard a 500 sheet paper tray and a 150 sheet tray. The GX also comes with a standard 1,500 sheet lower tray. And the DXF adds a 2,500 sheet high capacity feeder, as well as a 1,000-sheet stapler/stacker.

The three higher models, DN, GX and DXF, come with other additional features as well. They each have a 20 GB internal hard drive as standard. Print quality is enhanced to 1,200 x 1,200 dpi photo quality. Ethernet connectivity is also included on these models. While two-sided printing is optional on the 7750B, it comes standard on the other three.

Color handling is brilliant on these printers. Included color correction and color management ensure that your documents look exactly as you intended them to. These all help add up to a printer that is a great fit for graphic and design professionals in particular.

One really nice added feature is that the display on the front shows you how much you have left of each Xerox ink and toner color. You do not have to worry about wasting ink by printing a job only to have one color run out in the middle. A simple glance at the front of the printer will let you know the status, which will save you money.

As is typical with Xerox printers, the drivers install really easily. You are supplied with all the documentation you need. Any questions can usually be answered within the documentation provided, the info available in the online documents or via an online or telephone technician.

Whether you just need to do a lot of color printing or it is the focus of your company, this is a color printer well worth considering. If you are engaged in graphic and design, with a lot of heavy output, you might be better off with one of the higher end versions of the 7750. These are larger than the desktop model but will provide everything a design professional needs.
