Pessimistic behavior reacting to things like "I don't want to. I couldn't do that. I feel down. I just don't feel doing it. I'm scared." impedes the need to go after certain tasks.
Signs and symptoms of depression.
Identify the several signs of depression such as sleeplessness or overslept, failure to concentrate or find previously easy tasks difficult, hopeless and helpless, and negative thoughts that one can't control of. Such recognition is the first step in overcoming the inertial process of procrastination.
Overcome procrastination.
Stopping and addressing the problem immediately would help in hindering procrastination. If the problem is a lack in sense of urgency, then try to organize and prioritize things.
