Middle School Fundraiser: Ways On How You Can Motivate Your Volunteers

The main objective of any kind of middle school fundraiser or fundraiser in general, is to raise money. Reaching the goal within a short period amount of time would be better than attaining it for long years. Now, that would literally drain the energies out of your volunteers. In here, we will talk about the different ways on how you can turn a long drawn fundraiser into something really fun and exciting that your volunteers or students will truly enjoy doing.

Money is perhaps one of the strongest motivations out there. This basically makes the management of fundraising activity a good one. However, this fact may not be true for all especially for those who are in the front line. Now, if you really want to boost your sales and in turn reach your goal faster, you must give your volunteers or students a good amount of motivation that will help them to keep going with this activity.

Below are some good motivational ideas that will aid you in getting your team members hyped up and moving.

Top Seller Award

You can reward the best sales person in your time after the activity is over and you have raised funds already. Rewards can be basically anything that will motivate your team to work hard such as trophy, plaque, movie tickets, free dinner to a local restaurant, and many more.

Hold A Raffle

In here, you can give out raffle tickets every time a team member sells a product successfully. You can label the ticket with his name and place it inside a jar or container. You will keep these tickets so that at the end of your fundraising campaign, you can do the raffle. You can draw out tickets for a first, second, and third place prize item. This is a good motivation that will surely hype up the members of your team to work harder since every time they make a good sale, their chances of winning the prizes in the raffle activity will increase. In other words, this will bring out their competitive side.

Give Out Goal Specific Prizes

Set a few individual sales goals that your team members can try to achieve. A example of these would be, giving out a prize for the first person to sell out $200 worth of items or products. A prize is always a good motivation for any activity. This will show your students that they are not working for nothing. This will basically serve as a light at the end of the tunnel that your members will be looking forward to reaching.

Give Out Team Prizes

If your students are working in groups when they are selling out your merchandise, you can give out prizes to the top performing groups. Prizes can be anything such as a free snack at the pizza parlor or some movie tickets. This will enable the teams to unite and to work together as one towards one goal.
