1. Nanchang

Location: Fuzhou is in the eastern region of Jiangxi Province, bordering Nanchang, Yingtan and Shangrao in the north, Ganzhou in the south and neighboring Ji'an and Yichun in the west. History: The city belonged to Shu State before it was brought into Jiujiang Shire in the Qin Dynasty (221BC-206BC). It was in the Sui Dynasty (581-618) that the name of Fuzhou was first used for the establishment of the prefecture.

History: The territory of present Pingxiang City successively belonged to the Wu Kingdom and the Chu Kingdom in Eastern Zhou Dynasty (770BC-221BC). In the year of 267, Pingxiang County was set here, and in the Tang Dynasty (618-907), Pingxiang was exalted to a prefecture.
6. Xinyu
Location: Xinyu lies in the west-central region of Jiangxi Province, neighboring Yichun and Ji'an. The capital city of the province, Nanchang, is about 150 kilometers (93 miles) east of Xinyu. History: Although this area was inhabited by human settlers as early as 5,000 years ago, Xinyu County, named after the Yushui River running through it, was established in 267 during the Three Kingdoms Period (220-280) under the administration of Yichun. By the year of 598, the county had been marked off from the Yichun.
