As with other Jaguar cars, the interior redefines luxury. The new V8 gets a multitude of soft, breathable leather for the seats, the gear knob as well as the multi-functional steering wheel. Electric and heated seats have been installed for all occupants but that of the driver has a memory feature. The entertainment and navigation systems have been upgraded and now boast of digital sound processing along with satellite navigation, a DVD audio-video system, Bluetooth connectivity and a car phone. A 12-speaker stereo equipped with 6-disc in-dash CD stacker rounds up the premium audio package.
The dash and instrument panels have been ergonomically designed and would surely delight even the most percipient driver. There is a multi-function control screen, a trip computer, tyre-pressure monitoring with integrated display and state-of-the-art voice recognition.
The new V8 won't be a Jaguar without other perks and standard amenities right? So if you're interested to buy one, expect to get remote keyless entry, park distance control (front and rear), cruise control, 4-zone climate control AC unit, heated front windscreen, power adjustable pedals, illuminated power door mirrors, speed-sensitive power steering, front and rear power windows, an electric glare rear view mirror, illuminated sunvisor mirrors and an electric sunroof.
Safety-wise, the new V8 is at par with other luxury rides in the market. Standard across the range are antilock brakes, brake assist, dual driver and passenger airbags, side airbags for front row occupants, electronic stability control, dynamic stability control, traction control and seatbelt pretensioners. Also included are an integrated security system and alarms with motion sensor and tow away protection. Finally, for optimum handling and driving performance, Jaguar engineers installed air-electronic suspension in tandem with auto leveling and active ride suspension components. The latter allows the new V8 to tackle corners with ease and minimize body roll. In all, the New Jaguar V8 is in a league of its own in terms of elegance, styling, handling and overall performance.
