Chess is among the board games that can only be played by two people. The goal of the game is to subdue the king piece of the other player where it could no longer move much more capture enemy pieces without getting captured. Each player has a set of eight pawns, two rooks, two bishops, two knights, one king, and one queen a total of 16 pieces for every player.
