To hire freelancer is not a tough task to execute. There are lots of employees, who are working as freelancers. Freelancers are the workers who are the self employed and not bound to any employer for the long term. A Freelance Contract is a written agreement between the employer and the Freelancer. If any of the employer and the freelancer avoid or break any conditions of this agreement, the other party can ask for the payback from the Offended Party.

Thus it is really very important to have a legally written Freelance Contract. Below given are some suggestions that will prevent a Freelancer of getting cheated:

1.Never be shy to ask your Client or Employer about signing a contract. Because its not sure that by doing so you will gat your Payments but it can increase you chances of getting your Pay on time.

2.When you mark that your Client is not paying you on time, just send him an email with a copy of contract you have signed with him. And specify again the conditions of Payments as described in the contract at the time of signing it.

3.The contract is not a guarantee paper. But still, it can help you if any client deny for making the payment of your work. If, in case your client breaks the Freelance Contract, you can consult with the lawyer.

4.This is even advisable to a freelancer that you must make all the efforts at your own end to get the payment for your work, because involving any legal process can get you notorious in the market and you may not get work in future.

5.Make sure if once the submitted work accepted and if in any case the project is adjourned, you must be paid for your work.

The Freelance Contract is not in force, because the clients, asking for freelancing always cheat. But the contract is to avoid any such situation that can better the relation of the Client and the Freelancer. The contracts are to make sure that both the parties can complete the assignments without any painful experiences.
