This is completely new for me, and I am honestly really worried about having terrible writing and coming off boring or pretentious. However, because co-workers and friends suggested I do it, I decided to give into the peer pressure and attempt a decent blog. Here goes something...
I am soon to be moving to Tirana, Albania to teach 2nd grade. While living in Europe, and being there for the first time, I plan to do lots of traveling and exploring. I want to use this blog to share my adventures with not only my friends and family, but possibly with other classrooms of my former co-workers, and hopefully unknown classrooms!
I am a teacher, and will begin my fourth full year of teaching this September, which makes me feel very old. Kids can do that to you. I try to make up for that feeling by traveling and leading an adventurous life that keeps me young at heart, open-minded, educated, and happy. Lucky for me, my wonderful boyfriend, is identical in this sense. Unfortunate for our nervous pooch, she too is taken along for the ride. (Truthfully, she would be much more stressed being left behind.)
Soon to come.... a teacher, a boyfriend, and a tiny dog will embark upon journey to an unknown land where adventure surely awaits them.
