subject: Make the world a better place for all [print this page] Change.It is something we all come accross everyday.An common features of our everyday life,and the very constant element we all can not do without.And like an authour once said,that "the only constant thing in life is change".Change is inevitable.
A whole lot of factors can account for this change.Factors like accidental occurence,natural occurence,and even,human itself.And of all these agants of change,man is seen as the most important agent of Change(positive or negetive).Which is why this write-up is specifically based on assessing and identifying man as the distinct factor of change in the society.
Always remember that life is complex,unfair,but sometimes beautifull.The life we live,and how comfortable it looks depends on what happens around us,how we handle the "ups and down" of life,and above all,how ell well and good we really want life to be.Our enviroment and and life in general may seem unsettled,and unbearable to live in,but the beauty of it all is that, we must not abandon life or give up easily on life the way we met it.Let's learn to create a positive change,and make the world we live in,a better place for all.
No doubt you will agreewith me that, life is complex,unfair and unpredictible.But still you can be what you want to be,I mean "be the change you want to be".How?
First,accept life for what it is.Then assess it thoroughly,learn it basic rules,and see where you can come in to effect a change.You can do this by concentrating your study on your immediate enviroment.Maybe through your family.Because,sociologically,the family is seen as the first contact a child has with the world,and the best institution to initiate the child into the world.by concentrating your change in the family,preferably your family,it would give you the best chance to have direct contact with your enviroment,and more importantly ease your effort in effecting this change.how would you do this?be responsible in the home,to your parent,be the best child ever.to your siblings,be their hero,so they could imitate you and learn the good norms and value of the society through you.And to the larger world,be a good ambassador,and the mirror everyone would always look on to.
Also,be creative in your thinking and be reasonable in your conclusions.Creativity is the inside of you that speaks.Consciously and consciously,occassionally the creativenesin you tends to stand you out when and where you least expect.creativity is the instinctual part of you that brings out the best in you through your doings and creations.Sometimes your creativeness comes to play in your sayings,but more importanly it is felt and seen more in your actions.this is when you do the normal everyday thing people do,and yours seems to stand out and be distinct,and would be seen and envied by everyone.You may be wondering why it is so?the truth is,ordinary people do things the same way,yet achieve nothing.But a creative person does the same things in an extra-ordinary manner and come out successfull.He/she is then refered to as a genius,and maybe a hero.
Then been reasonable on the other hand, has to do with you making choices in life that you stand to defend,and be proud of.The reasonability comes to play when you make a choice that not only favours you alone,but also plays a major positive role in the development of people around you,and that same choice of yours causes the expected change that is needed in the world.
In addition to this,be self-distinct in whatever you do.Seperate yourself from the crowd by been unique in your ways.Let the world see you not only as an element of positive change,but as the expected change itself.By been distinct,you would aim to be the "Mirror" the world beholds.This is when you do things,and you make people say Whaow!. Be so admirable to the world in your doings even to the extent that the world won't be able to do without you.Yes,you can make a descision and a choice in the world that would shoot you into limelight,even to the extent that in life when major decision in the world are to be taken,you would be called upon,or better still,your "handwork' will be refered to.The world would not only reckon with you,but will always come to seek your opinion on matters.
Another very important factor you should always take into consideration is your self-determination, to succeed in life and make that change.And when you are determined to be the change in life,be very disciplined to sustain it.You can do this by taken decision and standing by it.Be a man of your word,and always affirm your authourity on issue that you stand on.This is very important,in the sense that if you are not carefull in life,you may never achieve anything good out of it.Because,life and it challenges could be very frustrating and discouraging at times,and if you are not determined and focus?these challenges and difficulties could deter or hinder you from your set objectives,personally,and generally in life.This is where you need to be self-disciplined,focus,and been your real self and not try to imitate your eniroment,instead,work towards them imitating you.Occassionally you may consult people around you for suggestions,and sometimes you purposely open yourself to constructive criticism,and most importantly,do not allow yourself to be distrated.Be self fufilled,and encourage yourself to do more.
one other thing is,the world would always expect much from you,and would even set an evaluation standard they expect you to meet up with.Something you would they would always assess and ocasionally judge you with.But this is what you do,be justified in what you do,and never give up in your in your quest to be the change you wish to be.
In conclusion,remember the world is ours to build,and what becomes of it depends on how we build and sustain it.let's not be selfish in our thinking and conclusion about life.Because whatever we make of life and make the world become now,will be the inheritance of the unborn generation.So many factors,like I said,can be regarded as agents of change in the world,but as humans,we have graeter and upper hand to beautify this world and make it a better place for you and me."we are the World",we are the change,be the change.
