With HD video recording and a Super AMOLED display, the Samsung Wave will no doubt see some success. You will find a turbo charged 1GHz Hummingbird processor under that sleek hood and a variety of media based messaging services are supported by the Waves software.

The Samsung Wave is ultra slim and very good looking, the device feels luxurious and reliable, and it is nothing less than luxurious and reliable. The 3.3 inch WVGA screen supports multi touch and has an in-built accelerometer; the screen and interface (TouchWiz 3.0) combination create a rich smartphone experience with a professional performance and reliable functionality. The facia of the phone hosts three physical keys; you get your generic call/end keys with a multi function key in the centre. The distinguished Samsung Wave lets you play with a 5MP digital snapper; it is fully capable of HD video recordings and high resolution photos. An LED flash doubles as s scene light for filming and the auto focus feature lends a hand in producing top quality images. The HD video recorder picks up movement really well and the sound is crisp, yes it is not the best HD recorder ever, but it is better than most options out there.

The menu system is app friendly thanks to the Bada platform. Additional apps can be downloaded via the Samsung Store, but with a range of apps covering an integrated organiser, social networks, web browsing and a variety of Google services with YouTube being fully integrated, the interface is already full of smartphone features. TouchWiz paints a futuristic design which looks stunning on the high spec screen. GPS has been including in the phones make-up, a dedicated navigation application has the tools needed to get from A-B.

The intuitive interface combines information from your social networks with contacts from your phonebook; the process is quite simple, you just download contacts from your Twitter and Facebook accounts and link them up with there names in your contacts list. The SNS tools extend to live updates direct to your home screen. All of these SNS goodies wouldnt be possible if it wasnt for the phones 3G network coverage which provides a very reliable internet connection. You can also have your e-mail inboxes displayed on the home screen with compatible providers including Gmail, Yahoo! Mail, Exchange and Hotmail. A dedicated messaging application includes your various e-mail inboxes, social network accounts and IM clients. The Samsung Wave gives you the option of switching to landscape mode thanks to the auto-rotate technology, this mode offers up an on-board, horizontal QWERTY keyboard, great for the message maniacs out there.

Samsung have loaded the Wave with a multimedia sector which has support for a music player, video player and FM radio. The music player will organise your tunes into popular categories like genre or artist so they can be found easily, a 3.5mm audio jack can be located on the top of the outer casing, from here you can plug in any pair of headphones for a personal listening experience like no other, the sound quality the Wave pumps out is sensational.

Samsung havent just delivered another middle of the road device with the Wave, they have produced a top quality mobile phone with a lush user interface and impressive operating system. The Super AMOLED screen will make just about anything look amazing and the online experience which is handled by the Dolfin browser is very good and the Wi Fi technology supplies users with a super speed connection.
