Americans are getting fatter and fatterAmericans are getting fatter and fatter. Even our children are getting fatter as well. Besides socio-cultural changes, its also the addition of harmful drugs in our food supply that is causing everyone to gain fat easier than ever.

The majority of people don't take the time out of their busy day to go workout and improve their health. With all the information out there today, it is not difficult to learn what you need to do in order to lose weight and to get into shape.

There are a few things you must do in order to get into exceptional shape. The first being healthy eating. That's right. This is the one place where just about everybody screws up. When it comes right down to it, your diet is about 80% of the formula to getting into great shape.

You will want to focus on eating raw and natural foods, such as lean proteins (chicken breasts, lean red meat, fish, egg whites, etc.), carbohyrdates (brown rice, oatmeal, potatoes, etc.), fats (olive oil, avocdoes, flaxseed oil, etc.), and fruits and vegetables. You are going to need to avoid all refined foods, such as crackers, breads, cakes, candies, sodas. A great rule to live by is only eat foods that have a shelf life of only 2 weeks.

Next, you must exercise to really get the fat off your body and tone up every single muscle. The best form of exercise is weight resistance. By lifting weights you will be able to tone up your entire body, making your metabolism much faster, which will help you burn tons of fat off your body.

Now, if you are not sure how to exercise or lift weights, I highly recommend you hire a personal trainer to train you until you are knowledgeable enough to exercise on your own. Trust me, hiring a personal trainer can save you years of wasted effort.

And to finish off your weight loss regimen, you should also incorporate some type of cardio training. Cardio training will also help you burn off some extra calories, along with increasing your endurance and stamina. And you need that for optimum health. I suggest at least 20 to 30 minutes each day.

By combining all three of these components you will get into amazing shape very quickly. Make sure you add a lot of variety to both your nutrition program and exercise regimen, so you never get bored or sick of your exercise routine.
