The total number of registered candidates in Home Economics Part-I Annual 2010 was 299, out of which 268 appeared, 125 candidates passed all seven papers, 47 six papers, 33 five papers, 19 four papers, 12 three papers, 12 two papers while 13 passed only one paper. In the DPE, 21 candidates were registered. Twenty appeared and nine passed it with a pass percentage of 45 percent.

BSEK extends date: The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) has extended the last date for submission of enrolment forms to September 20, a statement said on Tuesday. An All Private Schools Management Association Sindh delegation requested BSEK Chairman Anzar Hussain Zaidi to extend the last date because a large number of students could not submit their forms because of the law and order situation in the city. Zaidi accepted the appeal and ordered the extension.

Karachi:The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) announced the results of the Diploma in Physical Education, Annual Examinations-2009 on Thursday.
As per the result gazette issued by the BIEK, a total of 20 candidates registered and appeared in the examinations, of whom 13 passed. Not a single candidate managed to get A-One or A grades in the exams, but there were no E grade either.
The BIEK would issue mark-sheets in the next two weeks at the respective colleges of the students, while scrutiny would only be accepted within 40 days of the declaration of result, board officials said.
