The bad thing about that is, you have been through so much with it and you really don't want to. This is why you wanted to find out what is wrong and what can you do. Lucky for you I will let you in on three choices.
The good thing is that you can choose whatever you want. The bad thing is that, heck well there is no bad part about it. So let's get into why your console may get the Xbox 360 One Red Light or other red lights for that matter.
The manufacturers are making these consoles with weak materials. When the electrical units fire up, the Xbox gets hot and eventually may wear and break away from the weak materials. Now overheating is not the only cause, as there are problems with loose cables, inputs and other such things. The thing is we need to get back online, or your life will lose more sanity.
So what can I do?
Okay there are three options I am going to let you in on...
1. Send it to Microsoft. They will fix your Xbox 360 One Red Light, but you will be charged about $150 and it will take a month or two to get your best friend back. That is strictly unacceptable for me. Hey you may be different, but if you don't like the way that sounds, then go to the next one.
2. Look for a local repair center. They will also fix your Xbox 360 One Red Light and it will cost a little less, but unfortunately they will take a couple weeks to get back to you due to back orders and other things of that nature. You know how it it goes. I'm a gamer that is very very impatient.
3. Fix it yourself! Yes you have the power within you to get in and fix that bad boy yourself. All you need is to find a GOOD guide and get it over with. The video guides should be an HD step by step tutorial. No expertise required, thank goodness. I have had the Xbox 360 One Red Light about 5 times, and have yet to be discouraged and for less than $40 you can fix it all the time.
