My application for admission for Medical degree was approved, however due to my then financial inability could not pursue education in medicine. I have then joined a Science college and graduated in Zoology. I have been working in the health care industry after my graduation in India. Subsequently I have moved to the Middle East and I have been offered an employment as Medical Coordinator for 5 years in Sultan Qaboos University Hospital, Oman wherein I have gained substantial experience and knowledge in medical transcriptions since I was constantly interacting with a group of doctors.
I have also been doing the medical reports based on the interpretation of doctors and surgeons recorded in micro cassettes which are handed over to me for onward transcription and preparation of reports in the Sulatn Qaboos University Hospital. I was enjoying with the job as it was a new experience for me to understand the advancement in medical technology. I have then resigned the job due to family and children's education and could not continue the work for the last 5 years. However, I am at home with computer and 24 hours internet access and this will enable me to work from home. Medical Transcription is in my opinion the best and interesting subject that I will enjoy working from home with my educational background and previous work experience. I do realize that I will require freedom to look after my family and children and I am confident that I can simultaneously handle my house hold activities while contributing my time for the medical transcription. I am sure this job will support me and my family and I can generate a considerable regular income. I also would like to gain more and more knowledge in medical terminology and enhance my knowledge in medicine, treatments, advanced surgical treatments, etc. SN:0TG9Y2ESY
My career goal is to become a certified medical transcriptionist and then establish my own agency wherein I can provide medical transcriptionist training to other persons in my village who would want to become medical transcriptionists I sincerely believe that once I complete the courses I will be able to work as a regular Medical Transcriptionist and can provide my service to the Industry. As this is a noble profession which I always wanted, this will give me full job satisfaction and thereby I can advance my career goals in this industry.
