subject: Women Have A Few Common Problem Areas Where They Like To Get Liposuction [print this page]

All women are unique, but there are some places on the female body that tend to get fatter than others. On most women who are healthy and active, these areas are usually the last visages of excess weight. Many women who have maintained a healthy weight have just one or two problem areas. Liposuction can effectively trim down these areas.

Liposuction is only really effective on small areas, and it only safely involves the removal of just a few pounds of fat. The best candidates are those at peak health who want to get the fat removed for purely cosmetic reasons.

Women who get liposuction tend to get it in some of the same places. They are places that are generally considered to be okay to carry a little extra fat.

A common one is the butt. Especially in swimsuit season, many women become concerned with this area. It's a common area for women to gain weight, and one that many women wish they could shrink.

The butt is one place that can be especially resistant to losing weight. Even after excess weight has come off everywhere else, the butt will persistently maintain its fat. It's no wonder this area is one of the most common problem areas for women.

Closely related is the thighs, another place women are concerned with during swimsuit season.

Fat on the thighs can sometimes have an unsightly, bumpy appearance.

The things seem to be a regular fat storage area on the female body and they too can be resistant to mainstream weight loss attempts.

During liposuction, fat is usually removed as evenly as possible from both thighs.

The hips are another female problem area. For those who have given birth, the hips can be even more troublesome. They naturally widen to make room for a baby to pass through the birth canal. Afterward, they are more likely than before to become fat storage areas, and many women want to have liposuction from the hips.

Women tend to have soft fat that is relatively easy to break up and remove. The problem areas can be singled out; and actually liposuction is most effective on a small area anyway.

Occassionally, women want to have fat removed from their breasts. This kind of procedure removes some of the fat without changing the overall shape of the breast.

Because every body is unique, some women may want to trim up other areas as well. The advantage of having fat removed from a common area is that surgeons experienced with the area.
