subject: Brad Paisley Tickets - Decades Of Praise [print this page]

As the 2000s come to a close, Brad Paisley's successful decade is reminisced by everyone from Time Magazine to People. Deemed the top album for 2009, Paisley's American Saturday Night is hailed by the politically savvy news writers as his "most complete album yet," particularly thanks to the Obama hymn "Welcome to the Future" and other seamless, self-penned efforts.

The set is just another named during the countdown to 2010, where other Brad Paisley hits gave the famous songwriter recognition via Billboard, who named him their fourth favorite country songwriter this decade. Paisley still loves his Saturday night, complete with Brazilian leather, Spanish moss, Italian ice and French kisses, so make sure to get more next year with Brad Paisley tickets online today.

Paisley jets off at the beginning of the new year for the final leg of his American Saturday Night Tour with Miranda Lambert and Justin Moore. The two are going to have to look out for the songwriter, who is also a well-known prankster - he recently pulled a joke on former American Idol and tour mate Kellie Pickler, who has denied rumors that she had gotten breast implants, posted American Idol production. Though the prank was all in good fun ("We [made the pictures] to make her look like Dolly Parton after and a small boy before," he said,) Lambert and Moore are going to have to watch their backs.

Co-writing every song on the latest album, Paisley admits that "Welcome to the Future" is his favorite song of his career. Other tunes he is particularly proud of on the disc are "I Hope That's Me," and "Anything Like Me," as he finds himself in the lyrics ("This song is me," he says on his website in regards to "I Hope That's Me.") Yet the good time guy who penned country classics like "Sticks" and "I'm Gonna Miss Her (The Fishing Song)" is still evident in the title track.

"[A nod to] the one night of the week everybody is willing to be entertained, to let loose and forget about what's going on during the rest of the week. I want every night of this year's tour to feel like Saturday night for people," he said at bradpaisley online.

A funny man with a great heart, Paisley had a great year. Apart from topping country charts with his new album, the eighth solo effort of his career that featured his fourteenth number one hit with "Then," Paisley also welcomed his second son Jasper into the world in June. Recently talking to People about the familial dedication he learned from his father, Paisley admits that he didn't get the musical touch from his father but much more.

"I relate to him in a different way," he says in regards to Doug Paisley. It was actually his grandfather who inspired Paisley to try time on the guitar, listening to Chet Atkins and Les Paul at just eight years old. His first band, the C-Notes, began just two years later and at 12 he started his career with the annual Jamboree in the Hills in Wheeling. He moved on to Nashville, studying at Belmont University, and has since created a reputable name for himself and his family.
