The Teas exam tests the competency of the candidate appearing for the test in four distinct areas. They are Math, Reading, English and Science. A candidate should score well in all the sections in order to qualify for a seat in the various prestigious nursing schools across the US. He or she has to follow the instructions given be the doctor and give the patient the prescribed medication. Thus, it gives the nurse to engage in a relationship with the patient where he needs to act as a friend and a confidant. Thus, it is the duty of the nurse to keep the dignity and the privacy of the sick intact,

A nurse should be able to collaborate with the other members of the medical staff honestly. A lot of responsibility lies on the shoulders of the nurse and it is an important part of the nurse to act honestly and in a fair manner. A nurse should create a holistic healing environment with his or her actions which is conducive to the speedy recovery of the patient.

Thus, apart from the academic qualification and certification a nurse should possess the above qualifications to maintain the spirit of nobility of the nursing profession and keep it intact.
