subject: Why Mlm Pre-launch Is All Hype [print this page]

I am completely and utterly tired of the 'Ground Floor Opportunities' that are popping up all over the place. I get spammed in my email box, on Facebook, on Twitter, ALL over the place, and quite honestly, I have built up a wall to anything that appears to be a 'ground floor opportunity,' a 'pre-launch,' 'the next big thing,' etc. (How's THAT for a run-on sentence!) It's truly scarring the reputation of our great profession and I want to clear it up!

The cold-hard facts are as follows:

#1. 51,000 network marketing companies have been launched since 1950. Only 63 have achieved $100M in sales. That means 50, 937 have FAILED!!!

#2. According to direct sales market data, most companies that enter the industry are gone within two years. Some peak quickly and then die because of structural problems and some never get the formula right, even with great products.

3. True wealth with a network marketing business is built in years 6 - 10 with a network marketing business. Why?

The first five are spent ironing out the wrinkles. Hurdles will spring up in the first 5 years, whether it's with product quality, the systems in place, or even rapid growth will be a hurdle. Most companies, within the first 2 years, run out of money trying to fix these hurdles. End of story.

All that said, it's o.k. if you have gotten caught up in a 'ground floor opportunity.' You were most likely misled by someone who really doesn't understand the industry. The company MIGHT make it, but statistically, it probably won't.

Here are some steps to ensure you find success in network marketing:

#1. Stop building your 'ground floor opportunity' now. Don't believe the hype! #2. Find and align yourself with a partner who truly knows the ropes. Who has already made the mistakes in the past and can teach you the ins and outs of this industry with professionalism.

Here's an example to think about: Would you rather learn about a computer from Bill Gates, or the guy across the street who has 50 computers in his garage all in pieces?

It's a simple fact that 97% of network marketers fail. It's because they are following the 'guy in the garage' rather than Bill Gates! Knowledge is truly power. 97% of network marketers don't align themselves with the proper mentor, but also don't take it upon themselves to LEARN the profession. It's plain ignorance and we wonder why so many fail?

To learn the rest of the steps of finding success in network marketing, read the extended article and honestly ignore the 'MLM Pre-Launch' massacre!
