subject: What Is The Zeo Personal Sleep Coach? [print this page]

It seems that Western Medicine's answer to sleep problems is medication. I have tried a handful of pills myself in trying to find ways to deal with insomnia. However, unless you have good insurance, medication can be pricey. And honestly, I question the safety of taking them long term. Therefore, I have stopped taking sleeping pills and begun researching natural remedies as well as sleep monitoring devices like the Zeo Personal Sleep Coach.

One day a few years ago, I got tired of dealing with the side effects of taking sleep medication, and decided to stop. That's when I turned to natural alternatives like Melatonin. The overall efficacy of natural pills were much lower than the sleeping pills I had taken in the past. I also tried Valerian root, which helped somewhat, but like Melatonin, it was kind of unreliable for me.

I eventually grew uncomfortable with the idea of taking a pill, since it does not solve the real problem that may be causing sleep issues. I wanted to gain insight into what exactly I was going through when I slept. But I knew that to get more information, I would have to see expensive sleep specialists, and I didn't have the money for that.

After some research online, I discovered a neat little device called the Zeo Personal Sleep Coach. The device comes with a headband to be worn at night, along with a small bedside unit. The Zeo Personal Sleep Coach keeps track of a lot of data, like how long you were in deep sleep and how often you woke up.

Along with the device, you have access to a website where you can upload your data and get feedback and analysis. When I learned about everything the Zeo device offers, I wanted to get one, but the high cost made me reluctant.

Fortunately, I discovered that there is a 30-day trial of the device. Therefore, I will probably check out the device to see how it works for me. Giving knowledge to people is a great way to empower them to find solutions for their problems. This is why I find the Zeo Personal Sleep Coach so intriguing.
